KABATAAN PARA SA KINABUKASAN

If you believe beauty pageants -- and there's no reason for you not to -- the children are our future. The future of our diplomacy, then, is quite bright based on what I've recently seen of the younglings. First, the Department's Day Care center flawlessly depicted the imminent integration of ASEAN.

Consensus: apple juice is yummy.  Non-interference: during potty time

Soon thereafter, the LLDD-Baby made her first ever visit to the Home Office, and was completely gaffe-free.

She could name all the flags, and didn't ask why Mabini was sitting down

And the following day, news came out of some future diplomats doing well at a model U.N. conference, which would have been great in and of itself . . .

. . .but then THIS GUY

The kids are all right.

CLAP-CLAP. CLAP-CLAP-CLAP. CLAP-CLAP-CLAP-CLAP -- AZKALS!

Let's see....

Out-of-the-way home stadium?

Wet match-day weather?

Passionate fans (with questionable fashion choices)?

Game home side?

That gets everyone's hopes up?

But ultimately breaks our hearts?

Funny, I could've sworn I already left England.
