WE GET WHAT WE DESERVE FOR GOING ON A NAKAWALOCKDOWN / BEACHWATCH

So as we're getting ready to wrap-up our mid-coast beach hopping, I get the following text from a Sydneysider: "whats up with your street its all over the news"

what in the name of quarantine housing..?

Came home to this.  Apparently, the crew demolishing some old apartments at our street corner nicked the walls of the adjacent office building causing it to crack and then crumble and presumably yell Jenga!

Fortunately, all the occupants were safely evacuated, but everything in the collapsed building had to be abandoned (including a bitchin' vintage car left in the garage), and the resulting safety exclusion zone/police tape stretched all the way up to two houses away from ours. On the bright side, lots of street parking just opened up! On the other hand, news helicopters were literally airing our dirty laundry!

kailangan ba talaga makita ng Australia ang mga sampay namin?

THE NAKAWALOCKDOWN / BEACHWATCH MASH-UP WE NEED (Ep. 3)

From the south-coast of the state we head north to its mid-coast (Australia's so large, directions/locations all become relative, just go with it). No shortage of wide-open, uncrowded, and absolutely gorgeous beaches all along the way.

THE NAKAWALOCKDOWN / BEACHWATCH MASH-UP WE NEED (Ep. 2)

Roam if you want to (but please check ahead for local travel restrictions)

Roam around the world (actually, just within your state)

Roam if you want to (bahala ka)

Without anything but the love (and allowable body temperature) we fe-eeeel

Sand Dunes at Port Stephens

Visually stunning and apparently a mecca for influencers, judging by all the people in gowns and capes and other "effortless" IG attire.  Quote the LLDD-Hyphen-L: kung alam ko lang, nag-Filipiniana sana ako

Tomaree Head across Nelson Bay

So if you can't afford to stay at one of Nelson Bay's luxury accommodations, head up the Tomaree Head walk, and look down on those who can =)

Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse over Seal Rocks Beach

That's...just an awesome combination of words.   Nothing to add.

Hidden Farmhouse somewhere in Buladelah

Our base of operations for all these lakbays was a friend's Air BnB-ready farmhouse that was wellll off the beaten paths (and beachfronts), but whose secluded beauty allowed for lots of private posing-for-IG training
