Very lucky that while Australia and its states are sticking with hard-ish national and local borders, travel within NSW is actually becoming more free and open -- perfect with the dreary winter in the rear-view and the longer sun and warmer outdoors now beckoning. So for the first time in months, we sprung out of Sydney, and enjoyed a wonderful day trip to:
the Tulip Time Festival, Bowral
tulips walk into a bar...
The Illawarra Fly Tree Top Walk
pretty fly for our white thighs
Carrington Falls
Must be viewed while humming Jurrassic Park theme and chanting "LLDD doesn't want to be fed, he wants to hunt. But really, fed."
Speaking of food, the one comedown of the trip was the swing by the "Big Potato", which we thought would be as colorfully delicious as the "Big Prawn" or the "Big Banana", but when the LLDD-Baby saw it through the car window said it looked like "a big, fat, brown poo"
to be fair, she could've been referring to anything in this picture
