Well here we go you kooks! Just a few months in and we're already at the most famous beach of them all, Bondi! A kilometer of gorgeous sand linked to gorgeous coastal walks backed up by a happenin' town scene. Who can forget all those iconic Bondi moments: Beach Volleyball at the 2000 Olympics; Paris towing Kim on Bondi Rescue; Scooby Doo and the Legend of the Vampire.
Indeed, Bondi's so big and popular a local actually tried to warn us off, calling the place "an absolute zoo", but we found no such unpleasantness during our stay. I personally found Bondi expansive and inspiring, spurring me to try things I've never tried before, like climbing down coastal cliffs, sampling hipster cafes, or - gasp - creating online albums.
