As I finished off a day of crisscrossing Sydney for various events and receptions, I found my curiosity piqued by a long staircase carved on the side of hill. With some "Where do these stairs go? They go up" Venkman thinking and a profoundly misplaced sense of personal fitness, I decided to make the climb. Turns out, the stairs led to the Sydney Observatory, and to some of the most gorgeous views of the harbour.
